celebrate Latinx and Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15-October 15.
“大学 is proud of the programs, organizations and services we have developed to promote Latinx "servingness." Puente, CLEA, LUNA, and El Centro are just some examples of Chabot's leadership in providing culturally responsive academic and social resources in support of all students, including Latinx and Hispanic students.
At “大学, we empathetically work to identify the unique needs of our Latinx and Hispanic students so they can thrive and follow in the footsteps of Latinx and Hispanic leaders that have inspired us such as Cesar Chavez, Dolores Huerta, Sonia Sotomayor, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Gina Garcia.
I wish you all an outstanding month and look forward to the continued conversations on how we may raise awareness and celebrate our Latinx and Hispanic community.

总统's Welcome
Welcome to “大学! For over 60 years, Chabot has helped students meet their academic, social, and employment dreams, goals and aspirations.
I am honored to start my presidency as Chabot’s 10th College 总统. 我很谦卑 to lead our prestigious institution and excited about the tremendous potential in our programs and services as we aspire to be the best community college in the state.
“大学 will start this academic year with a number of established and exciting new programs and resources such as our outstanding HSI STEM grant that promotes a STEM Summer Bridge program, offers embedded tutoring, work-based learning, and comprehensive student services, and encourages completion/transfer to STEM majors at 4-year universities. We are also developing a basic needs student success center, referred to as THE HUB, which will house our food pantry, student direct aid, community resources, CAL Fresh Food assistance, and school supplies. Moreover, our academic offerings have expanded by increasing the number of online classes, non-credit, and dual enrollment offerings.
